What an adventure this was!
At the end of November, I traveled to Cambodia with Fountain of Hope.
By bus (and sometimes on a scooter), we crossed various places and Fountain of Hope programs in Cambodia. Everywhere we went, we were warmly welcomed with big smiles. The hospitality and openness of the people made a deep impression on me.
Adults, teenagers, and children shared their stories with us. I am deeply moved by these courageous, kind, and grateful people. Despite the challenges they face, they continue to care for one another and share what they receive. The sense of community and resilience I witnessed touched me deeply.
Fountain of Hope means much more to me than just an organization. It is a movement of hope, love, and change. The work they do focuses on sustainable impact: investing in education, strengthening local communities, providing opportunities for a better future, and sharing about the love of Jesus. They believe in equipping people so they can bring change to their own environment.
Fountain of Hope is important because it transforms villages. In their projects, they care for vulnerable children, equip teenagers to make a difference in their community, and empower adults to work toward lasting change for a better future. The dedication and love of the local staff are inspiring—they wholeheartedly commit themselves to bringing change, offering new generations a hopeful perspective based on the love and abundance of Jesus.
This journey has filled my heart with gratitude, wonder, and deep respect for the people I have met. It is always difficult to put into words what you have seen and felt, but my heart is full from this beautiful journey and organization.
