Yes, my name is Chhay Sothim, and I am 34 years old. I am the youngest of eleven siblings. I have a wife named Yon Yary, also 34, and we have three children. I enjoy reading the Bible and singing praises to God.
Before I knew Fountain of Hope, my life was not good. My family relationships were troubled. I didn't know God and lived a worldly life. But I thank God that He brought me to know Him through Fountain of Hope. I accepted Jesus Christ through their teachings.
I participated in three programs: Bible study, gardening and natural fertilizer, soap making, and health. The health lessons included positive parenting, the dangers of drugs and alcohol, domestic violence, healthy eating, hygiene, dengue fever, colds, migration, and human trafficking. The lesson that resonated with me the most was positive parenting, as it helped me guide my children better and plan for their future.
Our lives have improved since I met Fountain of Hope, and God has blessed my family. Moreover, God gave me the opportunity to participate in the Joshua course, which strengthened my faith.
I am truly grateful to Jesus Christ for bringing these wonderful programs to my family.
