My name is Seng Samai, and I'm a member of the Srae Kak Village committee in Tboung Khmum Province, Cambodia. I'm responsible for looking after my widowed mother and I'm really invested in making our community a better place. In 2024, I got involved with the Life with Value program run by the Fountain of Hope Organization, and it changed everything.
I heard about the program during a volunteer training, and it just clicked. I felt like it was doing something really important, and I could see God's love in action through their work. This program tackles some serious issues that affect our village: illegal migration, human trafficking, domestic violence, and drug abuse. These aren't just problems on paper; they're real threats to people's lives here.
The Life with Value program gave us the tools to understand and fight back against these dangers. We learned about the risks and how to protect ourselves. What really stood out was how they blended practical advice with teachings from the Bible. It helped us grow, both in our everyday lives and spiritually. I've seen real changes in our community, especially when it comes to domestic violence. It's not perfect, but things are definitely improving.
Honestly, the Life with Value program is crucial. It deals with the real problems we face, and it does it with compassion and a message of hope. I'm so thankful to the Fountain of Hope Organization. They've not only helped our community, but they've helped me find my faith.
