Meet Mom Sophi
I am Mom Sophi, a 49-year-old village chief from the Tboung Khmum province. I am married with two daughters. In 2023, I participated in the Fountain of Hope Life with Value program. Through this program, I learned about safe migration, human trafficking, domestic violence, substance abuse, and other critical life skills. This training has enabled me to become a community volunteer, educating others on these vital topics. For instance, I have worked directly with families experiencing domestic violence, and recently, I have seen positive changes in their families.
This program is invaluable in addressing domestic violence and promoting safe migration practices. It empowers individuals to make informed decisions and understand the potential consequences of their choices on their families. I have shared these lessons in my community. I have observed real change, particularly within families struggling with domestic violence.

I look forward to sharing more essential lessons such as positive parenting, patience, utilizing local resources, and child protection with the broader community. The Life with Value program is crucial, and it has significantly aided me in my role as a village chief, especially in advising community members about migration.
